Flight Date & Route Changes
Travel plans shift. Meetings move, weddings reschedule, weather happens. Our agents can process date changes, route changes, and airline changes — coordinated directly with the carrier.

Whether the ticket was booked through us or through another agent or website, we can often assist with post-ticketing changes. Fees, eligibility, and fare differences are always determined by the airline’s fare rules — we simply coordinate with the airline on your behalf.
- Date changes (earlier or later departure / return)
- Route changes (origin or destination swaps, per fare rules)
- Flight-number changes within the same day
- Airline changes (only where tickets permit endorsement)
- Stopover additions or removals (where fare rules allow)
- Rebooking after airline-initiated schedule changes
Two types of cost may apply: (1) the airline’s change fee set by the original fare rules, and (2) any fare difference between your original fare and the new fare. Worlds Travel may also charge a service fee for processing the change. All amounts are quoted upfront.
Our change process
Share your booking reference
Have the airline PNR (6-character booking code) or the 13-digit ticket number ready when you call.
We check fare rules
The agent retrieves your original fare rules to see whether changes are permitted, and what fees apply.
New options searched
We search live inventory for your new preferred dates or routes and price the difference (if any).
Full breakdown before you pay
You’ll hear: airline change fee + fare difference + our service fee = total. Nothing is charged until you authorise.
Revised e-ticket emailed
Once reissued, the updated e-ticket lands in your inbox. The new itinerary replaces the old one.

My fare rules say “non-changeable” — can you still help?
Sometimes. Even “non-changeable” fares can occasionally be rebooked by the airline for a fee, or the airline may waive rules during disruptions. The agent will check with the airline’s trade desk and tell you honestly whether anything is possible.
The airline changed my flight. Do I owe a fee?
No — when the airline makes a significant schedule change, most airlines allow a free rebooking to a comparable alternative or a refund under their involuntary-change policy. Our service fee may still apply for processing the rebooking.
How late can I change my flight?
Most airlines accept changes up to a few hours before departure, but later changes may be impossible or heavily restricted. Calling early gives us the best chance of rebooking you smoothly.
